Internship experience at Vijay Sales

 As part of our PGDM program,we were required to enrol ourselves in a summer internship program.There were many companies which invited our campus students to apply for the internship role and Vijay Sales was one of them.As marketing students,the company seemed favourable to us as it would help us in making a better project as compared to finance based companies in Mumbai.The interview was taken in the end of February 2025 whereas the results came in the first week of March.I was delighted to find my name in the selected interns list.We were called to the head office in Jogeshwari West on 15 April 2025 for the training and induction session.After the session,lunch was served.(picture attached).During my internship tenure,i got to learn a lot about consumer behaviour and marketing strategies which i later incorporated in my project.The staff and managers were friendly and provided guidance whenever required.I was allotted the accessories section which consisted of Bluetooth wireless speakers,Powerbanks,Keyboards,Mouse and headphones.During my short internhsip tenure,i managed to generate more than Rs 1 lakh in total revenue. Overall it was a great learning experience!😊
